Under the call of national energy conservation and emission reduction, many friends around me have tried to use LED lamps. It is because of the country’s weak supervision of the market, the flood of various fake and unqualified products in the market has not only LED to many friends fall into the wrong way, they would either burn them after hanging them for a few days, or find no one to find after sale. Friends know THAT I am in this industry and have asked me for advice on how to choose LED lamps.
Today here on the combination of my experience to tell you how to choose led tape light and lanterns, such as the various gods of my views are welcome to give advice.
How to choose qualified, good, healthy, really long life LED lights, some basic nouns and some too advanced knowledge will not explain to you, basic nouns read a hundred know, too advanced you also do not use, so mainly from the following aspects:

A: energy saving
The LED festival can have two aspects,
First, it has a high luminous efficiency, which means how much light energy is converted into per watt of electrical energy, in LM/W (lumens/watt). A comparison can be made. Solar tubes and energy-saving lamps are commonly used in the home. The luminous efficiency of solar tubes is generally 40-50lm /W. Energy-saving lamps at 50-60lm /W. (This refers to qualified products, such as Philip’s, generally domestic products do not reach this figure). The luminous efficiency of LED lamp, now the general white light source in 130LM/W. Finished lamp at 100LM/W. (Note that the luminous efficiency of the light source is not the same as the luminous efficiency of the finished lamp, because the finished lamp has the loss of the circuit part, and the loss of the optical lens, so the luminous efficiency of the finished lamp is generally only about 80% of the light source.) It can be seen that the luminous efficiency of LEDS is about twice as high as that of CFLS. That means leds use half as much electricity as CFLS to get the same brightness.
The second reason of energy saving, waste less was the light of LED lights, our factory, need to use the light, is not the whole plant, one of the most obvious is the assembly line, is only on the workspace is good, like several flashlights to illuminate the past the best effect, but now the traditional light source, such as energy-saving lamps, light that is 360 degrees, irradiation everywhere, Then use a luminous cover to gather the light together, so that there is about 30% light loss in the luminous cover part, while the LED is 30-170 degrees of light, and then use a professional optical lens to focus the light, the loss is generally only 5-10%. So this place is about 20 percent more energy efficient.
So, in general, leds use about 70% less electricity than regular light sources to achieve the same brightness.
But does using 70% less electricity necessarily save money?
That’s for sure, even though LEDS cost more than traditional CFLS. But in terms of the level and duration of use, saving electricity is saving money
For example: a 5 meter high workshop, need to achieve the lighting effect for reading and writing, need a 100W energy-saving lamp. A 100W energy-saving lamp can be replaced by a 50W or 60W LED lamp, but 100W energy-saving lamp, buy a better Philip, about 150 yuan (a set including lampshade lamp head), domestic cheap, 70 or 80 yuan have. And how much does a qualified 50W or 60W LED lamp cost? 300 to 350 yuan per set. Cheaper point also has more than 100 200 pieces, that kind of do not discuss, that thing is hanging LED lights name just.
From this point of view, it does look like LED mining lamps are about half as expensive as CFLS. But saving money isn’t just about upfront spending.
To calculate the electricity bill, the general industrial electricity is more than 9 yuan to 1 yuan per kilowatt hour (take 1 yuan per kilowatt hour), a day the factory lights on for about 10 to 12 hours (take 10 hours), 365 days a year.
Then, if the energy-saving lamp tube is used, the annual electricity bill is 100W*10 hours *365 days /1000=365 kilowatt-hours, press 1 faster one degree, the annual electricity bill for a energy-saving lamp is 365*1=365 yuan.
What about leds? 50W*10 hours *365 days /1000=182.5 degrees 182.5*1=182.5 yuan, with LED lights 182.5 yuan of electricity per year save 365-182.5 yuan of electricity per year
In terms of electricity costs alone, it saves general electricity costs in the first year, just enough to recoup the cost of initial investment.
It saves electricity, but does it save money?
How the money was saved.
Since the electricity saved by led tape light is taken away by the cost, so why do we choose LED lights?
Because of the long life.
The above calculations do not factor in the life of the lamp.
A noun: Light decline, refers to the light source in the use of time changes and the proportion of brightness decline, simply said that the lamp is not bright enough for a long time, more and more dark, generally speaking, the brightness of a lamp drops to 80% of the new lamp, basically should be replaced, because 20% of the brightness decline, there is a little influence on the use, In general, the energy-saving lamp tubes in the factory are replaced every six months or eight months, which is the reason.
Taking this into account, CFLS and solar tubes typically have a life span of 2,500 to 3,000 hours. Based on 10 hours a day, generally in a year or so, it will be replaced.
LED light decay is usually 3-5% for 5000 hours. (There are a lot more qualified LED lights than that). If only light decay is considered, there is generally no need to change the light for 10,000 hours, 10 hours a day, almost 3-5 years. (Again, this is a good LED. If it’s a bad LED, especially if it’s cheap junk, you can laugh at it for a year.)
Therefore, if in the long term, 3 to 5 years, the LED lamp does not need to be changed, the ordinary lamp needs to be changed about 5 times, and finally the LED lamp can save money, and save a lot of things.
The first year recoups the cost of the upfront investment, and the second and third years are pure savings.
Combined with the example, LED mining lamps save electricity and money at the same time, which not only meets the requirements of national energy conservation and emission reduction but also meets the requirements of personal interests, which can be described as a win-win situation.
It can be seen that if the factory decoration to buy LED lights, we must buy qualified real use for 3-5 years, the longer the time, LED lights can save money, don’t be cheap to buy those one or two hundred yuan of garbage, that thing is to use a year or two years, save electricity is not enough to buy lights. You get what you pay for, and cheap goods are not good. And the most important thing is that qualified LED lights and unqualified LED lights, there is a big difference in the use effect. Second, what is natural light? What are some of the features?
You see, at noon, the sun shines on the balcony, not directly into the room inside, but you feel comfortable in the room inside, the light is bright and soft, see things very clearly. Why is that? Because human beings and the creatures on the earth, the evolutionary process is to adapt to the environment, that is to say, our eyes are according to the characteristics of the sun to grow, so the sun we look the most comfortable (you don’t directly look at the sun ah, so I worry for your intelligence).
So we use lamps and lanterns, a good lamp is a lamp with all parameters close to natural light, this involves too many parameters, some parameters we can not understand, also can not use, the most direct way to judge is to see the light display index.
The display index is how close the color of the object under the light is to the color of the object under the natural light. To put it more simply, say, a piece of clothing, what color am I in the sun at 12 o ‘clock at noon, and then under the light at home, how does that color change from the color in the sun? On a scale of 100, nothing changes.

Finally, the design of the lamp should be suitable for factory work, light pollution, beauty, and so on, beauty is not beautiful, this is a matter of opinion, there is no way to say, here the most important point to pay attention to is light pollution. Some are also called glare. What does that mean? It’s dazzling. I have seen a large circle of led strip light manufacturers on the online shopping platform, and most of them do not mention this or consider this. However, the glare pollution of LED lights is a very serious problem.
Because I often have to design a variety of LED light sources, I have the most feeling for this glare. Sometimes, when my eyes look at LED lights, it will hurt for several minutes. Workshop with LED lights, especially on the assembly line, must pay attention to this problem, first of all, all is white light 6500 k, had better take samples first field trip, too see if light blue or light, LED lights will be high brightness, if the light is too blue, too light efficiency, workers where work 8 hours a day, really will be bright halo.
Factory decoration, it is best to take a first, go home and light up to see, do not feel dazzling? Of course, all the lights are dazzling, this should be a good grasp.
Effects, then longevity. The saving effect of LED lights is related to long life, theoretically speaking, THE life of LED lights is 100,000 hours, but it can not be done at present. Now sure, qualified LED lights, life in 15000 hours (after considering the droop), so if you see someone tells you he LED lamp life 350000, you can directly to ignore, the LED lighting industry leader, mark 30000, or without considering the light failure cases, if the light failure into consideration, the service life of LED lights, That’s 15,000-20,000 hours at the moment.
There are many factors that affect life span
1: Is the raw material qualified?

First, are the raw materials all qualified?
LED lamp is divided into three parts: light source (LED), power supply (constant current drive) and shell (heat dissipation part).
If any one of these three parts has a problem, the life of the lamp will have a problem. Because the bucket theory determines that the life of a product is not calculated according to the longest part, but according to the shortest part. Among these three parts, the most likely to cause problems, and the layman is the most difficult to understand is the power supply (constant current drive) part.
Power supply (constant current drive) hereinafter referred to as power supply, LED lamp light source is dc, white light generally with 3-3.6V low-voltage DC, so the need to turn 220V AC into suitable for LED current voltage, power supply is to do this.
LED lights in the process of light, there will be a lot of heat, and heat in turn affect the LED chip, LED to the current, current increase, heat and more, is a vicious circle, so the LED lights are used constant current control, means that no matter how much you temperature I power is that the current, so as not to a vicious cycle, so it’s very important to the power part, It is the most important part of LED lamp life.
Constant current control of the power supply part, but also to speak of accuracy, efficiency, power factors and so on, these your general consumers do not need to understand, you just know how to judge the quality of the power supply on the line.

2: the temperature, the power supply work also has a temperature, especially the capacitance, the general life of capacitance are calculated on the temperature, for example, a capacitor is 50 degrees in 20000 hours, the life of a drop in temperature of 5 or 10 degrees, double life, which in turn, to say the temperature every five or ten degrees, life is reduced by half. Power supply is also a lot of junk goods love to save money, because this thing you don’t understand, they just talk about it. In a word, take 100W mining lamp as an example, garbage goods may give you an 80W power supply, and then tell you that 100W, or even the power supply drive only a rectifier diode and capacitor resistance, and tell you that this is a constant current power supply. You can’t test it out. He can say anything. Shoddy.
Qualified light source, Taiwan chip on the market is more than 1.5 yuan per W, if there is a special optical design, or other performance requirements, about 3 pieces, the most expensive American CREE or Lumen, a 1W light source to 5-15 yuan. So you can calculate, if you buy a 50W bulb, according to the qualified accessories to calculate, do not require what effect ah, display index ah, design ah. Next, let’s talk about temperature. LED lights have very high requirements for temperature, because one is the power supply requirements, and the light source LED chip also has requirements. General LED chips have a junction temperature. The junction temperature is generally 100-120 degrees. The basic design idea in the industry is to ensure that the LED chip temperature is not more than 100 when it works normally. The required high point is no more than 90 degrees. This is the chip temperature, and then through the aluminum substrate, the heat dissipation shell layer by layer of heat conduction, the final result is, normal working time, the LED lamp shell temperature should be between 40 and 70, the lower the better, too low is not good, if you buy an LED lamp, the temperature is only 30 degrees, then the lamp will be broken in a few hours or days. Because it means his chip’s not getting any heat out of it, it’s all in the pile, and it’s failing fast.

Buy one and test it yourself
Take a look at the brightness and see if it is enough for you to use
Buy one and compare it with the energy-saving lamps in the old factory to see if the brightness is enough. (After 10 minutes of steady work, then compare)

Do not buy cheap goods, especially assembly line, cheap goods brightness life does not say, a glare pollution can not be used, harmful to the eyes.
