Today, when I went back to my hometown, I found that my light bulb didn’t work. It was a great shame for an old driver who has been working in lighting industry for many years. I would have done it by changing the light, but I also thought that my friends on Zhihu might have encountered the same problem, so I wrote this tip to repair the light.
Due to the time is too hasty, the language logic, pictures and so on will be in a complete mess, if hot everyone’s eyes hope to forgive.
No more talking. Let’s get to work.
St1: Open the lampshade and insert the connection between the lampshade and the lamp body with a one-word pencil knife or art blade in the direction of force as shown by the arrow.
St2: Check the problem. When you open the lampshade, you can obviously see the burned LED lamp beads. There are “small black dots” on the common burned LED beads, as shown by the arrow in the figure below. If there are no small black spots above the light source, it is mostly driven damage, and it needs to be replaced with a matching drive power supply.
St3: Cut the burned lamp bead, the tool is really simple, looks a little violent, please be careful not to scrape off the line on the aluminum substrate, cut the lamp bead don’t hurt the aluminum substrate.
After the lamp beads are cut off
St4: Use electric soldering iron to connect the positive and negative solder joints of the original lamp bead to realize the access.
Welded appearance
St5: Test. I use the LED tester with adaptive voltage. If there is no such tool, it is not necessary to test.
St6: Restore the bulb and check the effect. There is no visual abnormality. There will be no dark area even if one lamp bead is missing.
This method is suitable for most LED lamps, the principle is the same.
