1. Nature of light:
The nature of light is electromagnetic wave, which is a form of light energy in a very small range of the whole electromagnetic spectrum.

Visible light forms part of the so-called electromagnetic spectrum, which is found in radio and television signals and includes infrared and ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, nuclear and cosmic radiation. Of this electromagnetic radiation, only light waves are visible to animals and human eyes. 2. Luminous flux (beam) :

3. Brightness:

5. Light intensity:

6. Glare, how to control glare:

Generally, there are two ways to control glare: 1. Directly control the brightness of the light source or use transparent materials to reduce glare; 2. 2. Use the protection Angle of lamps to control glare.
7, color temperature:
The color table of the light source is also called the color temperature of the light source because the absolute temperature of the complete radiator is equal or approximate to the chromaticity of the light source.
Color temperature: the color of the light emitted by the light source is the same as the color of the light emitted by the black body at a certain temperature, the temperature of the black body is called the color temperature of the light source.
8. Color temperature psychology
Color temperature in 3300K below a stable atmosphere, warm feeling; Color temperature in 3000-5000K for the middle color temperature, there is a refreshing feeling; The color temperature above 5000K has a cold feeling. Under the irradiation of high color temperature light source, if the brightness is not high, it gives people a Yin atmosphere; Under the irradiation of low color temperature light source, high brightness will give people a kind of sultry feeling. 9. Physiological basis of color vision:
The light emitted by the object passes through the cornea, aqueous solution, crystal and vitreous body, so that the object image is focused on the retina, and the photoreceptor cells of the retina are transformed into nerve impulses, and then transmitted to the higher visual center of the brain, producing vision. There are two types of photoreceptor cells in the human retina: rods and cones. Rod cells have high sensitivity to light, cone cells have low sensitivity to light. So only the rod-shaped cells work at low illumination, and as the brightness increases, the role of the cones increases, and eventually the cones take over. Rods cannot distinguish colors; only cones have color vision.
